Judith Winward
Judith Winward is a solicitor and a member of our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, for both businesses and individuals.
Judith studied law at Essex University following a career as a journalist in Colchester. She trained with a large, long-established firm in Colchester and qualified as a solicitor in 2002. She joined Pinney Talfourd from that firm in 2011.
Judith undertakes all aspects of commercial and individual disputes such as contract disputes, contentious probate, professional negligence, property-related disputes, including those arising out of trusts of land and landlord-tenant matters, boundary and neighbour disputes and corporate and individual insolvency matters.
She has expertise in proceedings in the County Courts, the High Court and the civil Court of Appeal, as well as in negotiation and mediation.
Her broad experiences as a journalist and a solicitor together with her approachable manner enable her swiftly to identify problems and provide an excellent and informed service to our clients. She is available to speak to clients at all of our offices.
Judith is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers' Association.
She is also a qualified notary public, authorised to witness and certify documents for use abroad.
